Maker Filament PLA is different from other PLA’s you have used in the past because our 3D printer PLA filament extrudes perfectly at 230c which is higher than most of the other PLA filaments you have used before.

The reason for this is that we use a special USA sourced high-temp PLA resin that yields a stronger PLA print, zero warp and is much less susceptible to moisture absorption so you’ll have better prints from the first print all the way to the very last inch of filament on the spool; even if that takes you all year to use... you'll still have a quality filament ready to go!

Another reason we use this special resin is that it prints at the same temp as ABS, so if you swap between PLA and ABS in your extruder you won’t have as many jams because both materials are extruding around 230c - we think you’ll come to really appreciate this new special resin that you can only find in Maker Filament PLA. No heated bed required either so you can print directly to your glass, kapton or painters tape covered bed.

Happy Monday to you... hope you are doing great today; wanted to share something that was on my heart this morning about MakerGeeks and what’s going on and what the next steps are for us.

Almost 3 years ago we started selling 3D Printer filament(all of it from China) and over the next 2 years saw a booming business come out of those items; reselling filaments from China, Germany and the Netherlands. About a year and a half ago we started with a single extruder and a dream to start making 3D printer filament in bulk scale here on US soil… back then I thought that 1 extruder and me working part time would make more filament than I could sell in a life-time.
